2015 - 2017

The founding software engineer, tasked with building API's to control the robotic laboratory. Notable projects:

• A custom LIMS (laboratory information management system) using Rails API + Angularjs/React. Currently controls the automated lab, running thousands of experiments per week
• A Python ETL pipeline for flow cytometry data
• Machine Learning models on flow cytometry data using Jupyter notebooks, migrated to Flask app for production use

• Social network built on Rails API with Angular JS frontend
• NodeJS + MongoDB feeds app to generate custom feeds for every user

Took over as lead engineer from a previous team with a large amount of technical debt. I helped to implement test suites and payment systems.

Foundations Scholars A Rails app which allows students to complete lessons for money. Account management, ACL permissions, and includes a couple Backbone apps. (foundationsscholars.org)

Victory, Cofounder

A CRM for political campaigns
2010 - 2012

Cofounded a startup focusing on aggregating data sources for local political campaigns. At its peak, we onboarded over 500 local campaigns (including Joe the Plumber's) and bootstrapped $12k/month in revenues. We shut down in 2013.

In my free time

Triathalons Runner turned triathaloner, trying to improve my transition times

Traveling I've visited most of Europe and Asia, South Africa is next on my list
